IELTS ACADEMIC WRITING
Your score does not move. Not with more practice, not with a new template, and not with the retake you were sure would be different. Here is what that stuck score really means, and why it is better news than it feels.
A stable 6.5 is not bad luck. It is consistency. The same two or three patterns appear in every essay: your position is there but not clearly visible in every paragraph, your ideas are listed rather than developed, your complex sentences break the same way each time, and your words are correct but not exact.
Issues that repeat are issues that can be found.
Not by writing more. Submit one essay and read the report in minutes: the five issues limiting your band, ranked by damage, each one quoted from your own writing and coded, with each code pointing at the lesson that trains it. Then write draft 2 on a new question and see the movement in your own two drafts.
If Band 7 has a deadline attached, a registration window or an application date, then you need certainty. Sprint Pro is the 14-day cohort programme, with a live group session every second day built from your cohort’s real diagnostic data, and it carries the Band Guarantee, in writing.
